What’s Happening in Class?

Bible: Memory verse quiz will be this Wednesday,
November 20th. The students will write the verse for their quiz. “Know that the
Lord is God, It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep
of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.” Psalms 100: 3,4

Reading:
We will be reading Crispin by
Avi aloud in class. The half days really cut into instruction time last week,
therefore we will continue reading this week starting at chapter 20. This is a
short week also, so I don’t know that we will get much farther in reading this
week. * As of Tuesday we have read through chapter 23.

Language
Arts: Change of plans, we will be having writers workshop on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Spelling
and Vocabulary: Wordly Wise lesson 6
exercises A, B, and C will be due on Wednesday, November 27th. There
will not be a Wordly Wise or spelling test until next week on Wednesday,
December 4th. The tests will be on Wordly Wise lesson 6 and Spelling
lesson 11.
