Reading and Language Arts and Spelling

April 11th, 12th, and 15th we will be preparing
in class for the Terra Nova Standardized Tests. The students and I will be
reviewing some practice tests together. My plan is to help alleviate any
anxiousness about the test by showing students what to expect.

There will be no spelling or Wordly Wise due
next week on April 17th as we planned earlier. I have extended Wordly Wise
lesson 16 and Spelling lesson 25 to be due on Wednesday, April 24th.I have
introduced Wordly Wise lesson 16. I will give students the Spelling lesson 24
next Wednesday, April 17th.

I am not assigning homework until after the
Terra Nova testing and conferences are finished next week. I am hoping with the
half days for conferences and no extra homework, this will give everyone some
extra time to work on their science projects!
