Reading
This week students will be reading individual classical literature selections. Students are reading individual novels at this time in preparation for a book report. Each student is expected to complete reading their selection by January 18th. Book reports will be due on January 25th. I will be giving each student a worksheet for showcase sharing of their book. This worksheet will include a list of sharing ideas for students to choose one idea. During the week of January 21st-25th students will be working on their book reports in class. Any work for the book report not completed in class will need to be completed at home. Please review the list of ideas with your student and help them select the appropriate book report (showcase sharing) for them. I would also request that each student read aloud from their books to a parent at least twice a week for 15minutes over the next couple of weeks.
