Science-
- We are wrapping up our study of volcanoes and earthquakes over the next week. Today students will be working on nonfiction referencing and researching during reading time, as mentioned in the reading blog. All study guides will be given back to the students to help them prepare for the unit test, which will be next Thursday, November 1st.
- Tomorrow and Friday, October 25th, and 26th, students will be working in groups during class time to create a 3-D poster of a specific volcano. Their task will be to use various art mediums to create, label, and factually describe their assigned volcano. When students have completed their poster, they will be presenting it in class to the other groups.
