Monday 11/21- Grammar- Discussed appositives from page 520 of Write Source. Students completed the exercise in their writing journals. Discussed punctuating appositives and various phrases with commas from page 589 of Write Source. Students completed #2-9 in their writing journals. Ten minutes was given for completion of these sentences. Any unfinished work is homework.
Monday 11/21 Reading- Class discussion of Chapters 6and 7 of Where the Red Fern Grows. Chapter 8 was assigned reading. Twenty minutes of class was given to complete reading.
Monday 11/21 Spelling and Vocabulary- Spelling LS 11 and Vocab. LS 8. 15 minutes of class was given to review lessons and completion of exercises.
