Hurray! For fieldtrips
On back-to-school night, Mrs. West and I mentioned that we were working with the park rangers at Mt St Helen’s to arrange a fieldtrip for this coming Friday, September 16th. Everything has worked together in our favor and this Friday’s fieldtrip is a GO!
When: Friday, September 16th 7:30 am- 4:00 pm. Bus will leave at 7:30 am
Where: Mt St Helens/ Johnston Ridge Observatory/ Picnic at Cold Water Lake
What to bring: Sack lunch, camera (optional), money for gift shop (optional),
a light weight windbreaker, something fun to do for a road trip
(no electronic games or ipods) Oh! and a water bottle!
Chaperones: Fifth grade will need 4 chaperones and Sixth grade will need
6 chaperones. Chaperones will be assisting students with
learning centers at Johnston Ridge. Please contact Mrs. Carrillo
or Mrs. West if you would like to attend! Any chaperones
beyond the 10 needed will need to pay an $8 entrance fee at
Johnston Ridge Observatory.
Misc: Please make sure that your student has their Power of Attorney
form completed and on file in the office to attend the field trip.
