Spelling and Vocabulary
We will begin Spelling Lesson 12 (review lesson for 7-11) and
Wordly Wise Lesson 6 on Wednesday, January 7th.
Wordly Wise exercises A, B, and C, and Spelling lesson 12 will be due on Wednesday,
January 14th. The test for Spelling lesson 12 will also be on
Wednesday, January 14th.

Science: Exploravision Update
Everyone is busily working on their inventions and projects
for the upcoming deadline. My goal is to have everyone’s project completed by
January 20th, so Kim and I have time to load and email everything in
to the Exploravision website by January 22nd.

Language Arts and Writing
I will also be dedicating
time in writing this quarter for the innovation science fair as there is a lot
of expository writing students must do for this project. Students need to bring
any printed information from the internet to work on their projects to writing
class each day.

Reading
This week we will finish
reading Wednesday Wars. Our next novel is also a historical fiction, The Book Theif, by Markus Zusak, set
in 1939, Nazi Germany.
A Big Thank You to all the families that contributed and gave to our
adopt-a-family during the Christmas season. It was a big success and we were
