Happening in Class?

Bible: Matthew 17:20
He
replied, “Because you have so little faith.
Truly I tell you, if you have faith
as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible
for you.”

Reading: This week we will continue to read
in Smiles to Go. Thus far all
reading and work has been done in class.

Spelling and Vocabulary: Wordly Wise test on Lesson 15 is due
Wednesday, May 7th. Exercises A-E in the workbook are also due.
Spelling lesson 25 is due Wednesday, and there will be a test on lesson 25 this
week as well
·
Language Arts: This quarter we are working on
persuasive writing. Students will be choosing to write a paper about creation
or evolution. We will be working on these in class for the most part; I will
keep you informed if I assign any part for homework.

Science:
Boy’s science projects were due this
Thursday, May 1st! Tomorrow we will continue to have presentations
in class. If you have not presented your project, please come prepared to
present. We will be setting up projects in the gym, in the afternoon.
