What’s Happening in Class?      April 21st-25th

·          Bible: No memory verse quiz this week. Due to Terra Nova testing

·         Reading: Smiles to Go, it is! The books were ordered last week and should be here any day! I’m so excited to read a new novel with the students! We may start even during testing week, when we have some down time.

·         Spelling and Vocabulary:  Wordly Wise lesson 15 exercises A, B, and C will be due on Wednesday, April 23^nd.  No Spelling lesson due to Terra Nova testing .

·          Science:  No homework assigned this week to give students time for science project work! Science projects are due May 1^st!

·         Terra Nova Testing reminders:

Ø  Please make sure your child does not eat a sugary breakfast.  Students who eat protein before testing do better at staying awake and focused.

Ø  Please make sure students get plenty of rest and sleep. Mrs. West and I are not assigning homework this week to help students get plenty of “brain-break” time.

Ø  We will begin testing each day at 8:30 am.
