Happening in Class?

Bible: We continue our study on the
Israelites’ journey to Canaan this week.
Memory Verse for March 12th
Philippians 2:14
“Do everything without complaining and arguing.”

Reading: This week we conclude our reading of Bud,Not Buddy. We will be
planning our book celebration in class on Tuesday. I’m looking for someone who
knows how to swing dance and would be willing to come to class to show the kids….?
Let me know if you are willing or know someone who could do this!

Language Arts: Students will continue working in
pairs during class on the expository writing project for science; we are
currently integrating science with the students’ writing. The students should
be able to complete their writings by the end of this week. I will monitor
their progress in class because it is not my intention to assign this for
homework.

Spelling and Vocabulary: Wordly Wise lesson 13 exercises D and E will be
due on Wednesday, March 12th. We skipped lesson 12 and this week we
are doing lesson 13 D and E first to have extra time for helping students that
are struggling with creating sentences for exercise E. The test for Wordly Wise
lesson 13 will be next Wednesday, March 19th. Spelling homework lesson 21 and
words 3x each will be due on March 12th. The spelling test will also be on this day.

Science:
The boy’s science class of robotics
is moving right along. The boys are currently learning how to program their
robots to go through mazes.
