Sixth Grade Language Arts May20th-May 28th

Reading

• May 20th-24th We are reading chapters 11-18 in Island of the Blue Dolphins, in class.
• May 20th Students were given an activity handout to accompany the reading, this handout will be due on Tuesday, May 28th.
• There will be a comprehension quiz for chapters 11-18 on Friday, May 24th

Writer's Workshop

• Students will be working with a partner to create original stories inspired by their favorite authors.
• A final, edited writing from these workshops will be due on Thursday, May 30th.

Spelling and Wordly Wise

• Spelling lesson 28 will be due on Thursday, 5/23 this week, due to the fieldtrip. The test will also be on Thursday.
• Wordly Wise Lesson 20 will also be due on Thursday, 5/23. The test will be on Thursday as well. This is our last Wordly Wise lesson for the year! Yeah!
