Fifth Grade Language Arts for February 19th-23rd

Spelling and Wordly Wise

• Review Spelling lesson 18 was introduced in class on 2/14 and will be due on Wednesday, 2/20
• Wordly Wise lesson 13 was introduced in class on 2/14 and will be due on Wednesday, 2/20
• There will be a test for both lessons on Wednesday, 2/20
• New spelling lesson 19 was introduced and handout was given for homework on 2/20. This assignment is due on Feb. 27th
• Wordly Wise lesson 14 was introduced on Feb 20th. Exercises A-E will be due on Feb. 27th.

Reading

• On Wednesday, Feb. 20th we read chapters 14 and 15 of Bud Not Buddy, together in class.

Writing

• We began Writer's Workshop on Thursday, Feb 21st. Writer's Workshop will be held in class on Monday- Thursday of each week from 1:30-2:25pm
• February 21st we worked on peer editing, and proper response to the work of a peer. 

Bible

New memory verse for next week, February 27th, Romans 12:19,20
