Reading
- On Monday we will read chapter 17 of Red Fern and complete a Reader Response.
- On Tuesday we will read chapter 18 of Red Fern and complete a Reader Response.
- On Wednesday we will begin our independent reading logs for free reading. We will also have free reading on this day.
Creative Writing and Grammar
- On Monday, students will be typing their Mt St Helens papers on the computers during computer lab time.
- On Tuesday, students will be having a lesson on ideas for writing and revisiting their Mt St Helens writing for revising and editing.
Spelling and Vocabulary
- Wednesday is our testing day for both Spelling and Wordly Wise Lessons 5.
- Homework is also due on this day.
- This will be our last Wordly Wise Lesson until November 7th.
- Spelling lessons will continue as normal.
- Next week's lesson 6 is a review of lessons 1-5. Students will have a homework worksheet and they will be choosing 20 words from the list that give them trouble to write 3x each for the review.
