Reading and Language Arts and Spelling
- April 11th, 12th, and 15th we will be preparing in class for the Terra Nova Standardized Tests. The students and I will be reviewing some practice tests together. My plan is to help alleviate any anxiousness about the test by showing students what to expect.
- There will be no spelling or Wordly Wise due next week on April 17th as we planned earlier. I have extended Wordly Wise lesson 16 and Spelling lesson 24 to be due on Wednesday, April 24th. I have introduced Wordly Wise lesson 16. I will give students the Spelling lesson 24 next Wednesday, April 17th.
- I am not assigning homework until after the Terra Nova testing and conferences are finished next week. I am hoping with the half days for conferences and no extra homework, this will give everyone some extra time to work on their science projects!
