Fifth Grade Language Arts
January 13th-20th

What’s Happening in Class?

·         Bible: We begin a study on the life of Joseph.
Memory verse for January 15th is: Romans 12:17-19 “Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.

·         Reading: This week we will continue reading and discussing, Crispin. The students are starting to get back into the swing of things and our discussions of Crispin, have begun to liven up again! At the end of this book we will have a celebration as in times past. I will be giving students details about our Renaissance Street Fair this week.
