This week in Language Arts:
- Wordly Wise Lesson 3--- Homework: Do Exercises A,B,C for Wednesday, October 9th---No test this week
- Reading--- We began new books for Literature Circles today. Our genre study is historical fiction this time. All students have to complete the reading of their selection by Monday, October 21st. Students should be prepared to work on their book report in class on Monday, October 21st. Details will follow about the book reports!
- Grammar--- Our grammar study this week will be a review of the parts of speech. Students will have a packet to complete in class by Friday, October 11th. If a student misses a day in class, they will have the assignments in their accordian file and they can work on it at home.
- Creative Writing--- The upcoming book report will be a reading grade as well as a creative writing grade.
