Reading: Students will be designing a diorama for The Tale of Despereaux. Students will need an empty shoe box. They will also need to gather "scrap" materials from around the house to create their favorite scene from the book. Students who have not finished reading the book, need to be reading each night at home in order to finish asap! Everyone should have all the materials needed for their diorama in class on Friday, April 13th. Please do not purchase premade materials for the project. I would like for students to create their scenes from materials they can find in our classroom or at home!
Spelling/Vocabulary:Spelling lesson 26 and Wordly Wise lesson 16 were assigned before spring break. These lessons will be due Wednesday, April 11th. We will also be taking the tests for these lessons on Wednesday.
New lessons will be assigned on Thursday due to the shortened schedule.
Grammar: This week in grammar we will be taking language progress tests to help students prepare for the language portion of the Terra Nova standardized tests that will be given next week.
