10/10-Forty minutes of class time was given to work on the final draft of narrative writing
"Camp Stories" Girls due 10/12 Boys due 10/13
Students picked books for literature circles today. Literature circles begin tomorrow.
Assignments given for literature circles will be completed in class. If an assignment is
not completed it should be completed as homework and will be due the following day.
10/11- Grammar Skills Book pages 37,38 Do the "Next Step" activity on page 38
in your writing journal.
Reading- Literature Circles started today. Students are reading various novels with
their classmates. As they read, students have graphic organizers pertaining to the novel
to complete. The worksheets are to be turned in, for a grade, upon completion of reading
their novels. Students should be completing their individual graphic organizers while they
are in class.
10/12- Spelling Test today on lesson 5. Wordly Wise Test on lesson 5.
Good news! There will be no more Wordly Wise lessons until the end of the nine week
